FUGITIVE RHYTHMS OF UPRISING
This multidisciplinary project delves into the sensory and visceral experience of the body in protest, free from the sociopolitical context that often shapes our perception of it. Through a fusion of audio-visual, text, and performance elements, the piece seeks to evoke a deep intuitive, and implicit understanding of the lived experience of other bodies, moving beyond preconceived associations and image interpretation.
By tapping into the shared human experience, the artwork transcends the limitations of representation and offers an invitation to connect with one another on a deeper, more intrinsic level. The artwork encourages us to set aside norms and expectations and instead engage with the raw and ambiguous experiences of our own and others’ bodies, providing a space for felt exploration and connection.
